It's a beautiful late autumn morning in Utah's Spanish Fork Canyon. UP's daily Denver, CO to Salt Lake City, UT manifest proceeds west preparing to come to a stop and cut off it's manned helper at Covered Bridge Road crossing. Now the scrub oak on these steep slopes is largely bare, awaiting the inevitability of winter's snow to alter this landscape from earth tones to white.
