Remarks & Notes

One of the many AAPRCO's cars on the Panama Limited. Pullman-built in 1950 for Louisville & Nashville, initially for service on the New York-New Orleans "Crescent." Later operated on the L&N's "Gulf Wind."

The Panama Limited was a special train of privately owned railroad cars that are part of the American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners (AAPRCO). The cars were returning to Chicago from the 2003 annual AAPRCO convention in New Orleans, LA.
