Remarks & Notes |
After a long day hauling hundreds of museum visitors around the trolley loop this yellow car is being returned home after sunset. The conductor is checking that each wheel is on the same track. The motorman is barely visible. There are 5 120V light bulbs connected in series in the overhead light fixture. 5 times 120V = 600V or the voltage of the trolley wire. That's one way to know that the overhead is powered. Some other methods are ill advised. |
