The days of rocking along at 10mph on the old CNW are long gone. Today, the DME freights, now owned by the Canadian Pacific, fly through here at 40 on new welded rail. Even though they haven't accomplished the goal of extending this line to the Powder River Basin, it is still fairly busy as another train traverses the line just east of Tyler, MN.
