Remarks & Notes |
A southbound CSX unit coal train slowly climbs up Duff Mountain grade as it crosses Hickory Creek, north of Chaska, TN on May 11, 1992 with three SD50's. Two SD40-2s were shoving hard on the rear. CSX's fleet of SD50s went through an upgrade program shortly after the railroad adopted the "bright future" paint scheme and were repainted rather quickly. It was a treat to find three units in good paint. |
