Statesman Rail are a company that organise railtours along scenic routes of the country,and on 16th April 2011 they ran "The Settle and Carlisle Statesman" tour,from Gloucester to Carlisle via the wonderful Settle line. Departure from Gloucester was 07.35 and the train is seen here a few moments later passing Churchdown,behind class 47 47826,with 57601 on the rear.Fortunately the weather decided to help out by providing a wonderful morning,after several days of cloud and gloom.
