Atlantic Coast Line 4-6-2 455 was the last of a group of 45 P-3 Class locomotives built in 1914 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. She had 69" drivers, 22 x 28 inch cylinders, boiler pressure of 200 lbs, and produced 33,389 lbs of tractive effort. ACL 455 was a successful mixed-traffic Pacific that served throughout the system until her retirement in the early 1950s. This image from my collection was taken at an unknown location in Georgia in 1949.
