UP's Roper, UT to Hinkle, OR manifest glides through the tiny community of Cache Junction, a terminal that once hosted a depot, beanery, coaling tower, and a shop. A row of grain elevators are all that remain today. 'Cache' continues to serve as a junction point to UP's 51 mile Cache Valley Industrial Lead through Hyrum, Logan, Smithfield and north to Preston, Idaho.
