Remarks & Notes
A C&A local eases over the swing bridge spanning the Pasquotank River in Elizabeth City, NC. Many things came together for this photo-- a delay caused them to cross the bridge northbound in daylight, and the matched set was made possible by both GP38s (in RailTex maroon and gray) being out of service permanently. In the meantime, these old ATSF GP7Us soldier on, oddly recalled to duty after several years of storage. NOTE: This photo was taken during a prearranged visit with permission.
