Remarks & Notes
Here's a location that you can't photograph trains anymore...at one time, the Heber Creeper line through Provo Canyon extended two additional miles from Vivian Park down to Bridal Veil Falls. Major flooding along the Provo River in 1983 washed away the tracks, never to be repaired. Pictured is a new arrival to the Wasatch Mountain Railway, Santa Maria Valley No. 100, a 2-8-2 Baldwin built in 1926 for the Charles E. McCormic Lumber Company. It worked on the Heber Creeper until 1985 when it was sold to a private owner and moved off the property.
