LTV's F9 fleet lasted as long as the mining operation that they served. I never had a lot of luck with getting photos of this operation, but did manage a few shots...although most were of the cloudy day variety. This westbound empty job throttling up as it departed Taconite Harbor was one of my luckier shots of the operation. Power on this mainly cloudy afternoon was 4210. 4215, 4209, 4223, and 4211.
