| A mid summers afternoon is awoken by Norfolk Southern empty hopper train 897 just south of Shippensburg as it passes scenes like this all down the Cumberland Valley in Pennsylvania along the Lurgan Branch on August 18th, 2011. The train is headed back to the Appalachia coal mines in Williamson, West Virginia to pick up another load of black diamonds for shipment to a power plant at Indian River, Delaware. |
