Remarks & Notes
The Ex ACR GP7's stayed close to home for the most part in the first few months after the WC merger. A few wandered into Upper Michigan but that was about as far as they managed to get in the first few months. In this shot about a mile north of Hawk the 1507, 1505 work south with 42 cars. Trains 5 and 6 operated Hawk Jct.-Hearst after the WC take over and worked the log load outs/sawmills along with the CPR interchange at Franz and the CNR interchange at Oba. In a few more months the Geeps were sent to N. Fond du Lac for a rebuilding that included lo noses and WC paint. They ran well and most if not all worked right up to the CN merger in 2001.
