Remarks & Notes

The westbound BNSF Cadiz Local was grinding up Ash Hill near West Siberia, CA on August 13, 2003, led by GP35U No. 2648. I don't know the reason Arizona & California SD40-2M No. 4002 was in the consist, but it appears that it was on line and helping do battle with the grade.
