Remarks & Notes |
Lima-Hamilton Corp. 9541 was built in June of 1951 and is one of only 174 diesel electrics built by Lima-Hamilton. It started life for the Cincinnati Union Terminal before being acquired by the Cadillac & Lake City Railroad. It was purchased by the Whitewater Valley Railroad in 1973 and is still owned by them today. It is the only operable Lima-Hamilton 750hp in existence making this locomotive a rare piece of history. |
