It seemed that owing to the GB&W's loyalty to Alco's that a number of the paper mills served by or in close proximity to the GB&W employed Alco units. It had been been a chilly morning in central Wisconsin and the crew of this job had ventured into the mill at Nekoosa for a short coffee break. The sun was warming rapidly though and one of the brakemen had decided that he had already "overdressed" for the day and his flannel shirt was decorating 19's grab iron.
