Remarks & Notes
Seaboard Air Line F3 4031 was found in local freight service working some of the turnaround jobs out of Raleigh, NC for a week or so in April 1966. Seaboard's F3's were usually found in through freight service as trailing units and were seldom found alone, especially at Raleigh. At the time this photo was taken, 4031 was only months away from retirement later in 1966.
