Remarks & Notes
Steam on the Naugy. Flagg Coal 75 shows off her muscles as she hauls 3 former CNR heavyweight steel coaches and a wooden CV Caboose north along Connecticut's Naugatuck River on an afternoon excursion for the Railroad Museum of New England (RMNE). Every year when FC 75 visits the "Naugy", the RMNE seems to have a special event or two up their sleeves. This year was no exception. The day after her arrival, they elected to run her north, all the way to Torrington, which is now the northern terminus of the line. FC 75 provided some short trips for local media and dignitaries, and was celebrated as the first steam locomotive to enter the city since 1948!
