The Raleigh-Fuquay Varina local clanks across the diamonds at Boylan Junction on it's way out of the capital city with a short set of cars for the FV and Fayetteville areas. This is the route of the original Norfolk Southern toward Charlotte, and Boylan was the site of an active tower where the NS crossed the Southern and Seaboard mains that head west toward Cary. |
