Remarks & Notes
Where the Santa Fe ends and CTC begins In the late 1800s NA Junction was the interlocking location Missouri Pacific had to create with the Santa Fe when building into Colorado in 1887 since the mighty ATSF had already established their line into the Centennial State years earlier in 1876. Today it’s no longer an interlocking as the two railroads had consolidated their trackage into a single line from this point to west to Pueblo in the 1970s and placed it under CTC control. On this day, the H-LAULUB splits the now defunct signals on the MoPac side as it returns to home rails for the journey to La Junta.
