| Street Running: UP's South Local does a little street running on Springfield's south side, where the tracks literally split 3rd street in two. If Springfield's city fathers have their way, this stretch of track will soon be abandoned in favor of a new right-of-way parallel to Norfolk Southern's "10th Street Corridor". |
