Remarks & Notes
On a warm springtime afternoon in 1994, a trio of EMD vista cab GP39-2s lead 83 loads of copper ore from the Bingham Canyon Copper Mine to the Bonneville Concentrator in Magna, Utah. By 2005, the KCC 911 would be sold to National Railway Equipment, have its vista cab lowered and be resold to the Dakota & Iowa Railroad as the DAIR #2511. The last train to operate along this right of way was in May 2001, when ore haulage by rail was shut down for good.
