| With traces of snow still on the platforms and a heavy frost on the carriage roofs, a gleaming Class 86 E3137/86259 'Les Ross' stands at London Euston waiting to depart for Preston with the 07:10 Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express. At Preston BR Standard Class 7 70013 'Olivier Cromwell' would take over to carry on to Carlisle. |
