| Built in August 1979 as SCL 7039, this unique unit was rebuilt from a C30-7 into a GE RCPHG6 and renumbered CSX 9303 for remote control service. On the way to Chicago we made a stop at Cleveland's Collinwood Yard to find this unit parked outside the diesel terminal, an old NYC coaling tower is in the background. This locomotive looks to be in pretty rough shape, if anyone has any information on it's current status please leave a comment! |
