| One of the MONUMENTS most recognizable of the Tocopilla coastal, old but still brilliant BoxCab 289A GE Electric Locomotives built in 1927, no major problems up the grade (slope) of 4.1% from seaport to the courtyard of "Barriles" for the gorge of same name ... In search of Salitre from Maria Elena. In the photo, the train down to the seaport loaded with Salitre. It's a fantastic journey, incredible watching these veteran locomotives unique in the world. |
