EMDX SD70ACe was part of the CATERPILLAR MUSEUM Grand Opening ceremonies on the morning of October 20, 2012. The Yellow/ Black/ Silver/ Gray SD70ACe was also on display in the CATERPILLAR section of MinExpo in Las Vegas, NV. This is the first time the unit has been photographed outside with a collection of three flat cars loaded with a CAT D10T, CATERPILLAR Dump Truck, CAT D9R and Illinois Midland #273 (former C&IM) Wide-Vision Caboose. After about 2.5 hours on display the locomotive then shoved the train back to CATERPILLAR property in East Peoria, IL.
