MUNI car 1061 heads south at sunrise on Market Street in San Francisco. This PCC streetcar, built by St. Louis Car Co. in 1948, is painted in the red, orange, and silver livery of the Pacific Electric, inspired by the ‘Daylight’ colors of PE’s big brother the Southern Pacific Railroad.
