| A modern train passes historical technology. California Northern 504 splits a couple of Southern Pacific searchlights located along the West Valley Subdivision near Williams, California. Back in the day, those searchlight signals were the new technology. The lines on the left were originally built by the railroad to transport telegraph. The West Valley Subdivision seems to be stuck in time. |
