| KCS northbound empty grain train GMXKCS returning from Mexico passes rice elevators as it approaches Higbee Street in downtown El Campo on November 9, 2012. This is KCS' Rosenberg Subdivision connecting Rosenberg and Victoria, Texas, part of a route linking Mexico with the rest of the KCS system. The Rosenberg Sub was formerly a Southern Pacific branch that was abandoned years ago. The KCS rebuilt the line from scratch. |
