| Old Highway 99 is almost as abandoned as the West Valley Subdivision these days. Years ago, both these roads served as a mainline of sorts bringing people and good up and down the Sacramento Valley. But now, with Interstate 5 and the UP Valley Sub, neither of these roads see much traffic. Here California Northern 504 comes cruising along the lonely Old Highway 99 with a short Maxwell Turn bound for Davis. |
