Remarks & Notes
Utah's Wasatch Mountain Railway, aka the 'Heber Creeper' traditionally ran doubleheaders on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. On Labor Day '76, Union Pacific 2-8-0 #618 teams up with Pacific Lumber Company 2-8-2 #35 to pull the afternoon run from Bridal Veil Falls up the 2.5% grade from Deer Creek Park to Wallsburg siding. The wood caboose is a former Utah Railway Company waycar which is now on display at the D&RGW Heber City depot.
