In an extremely rare occurrence, Vermont Rail System yielded a trio of GP40-2s (in three phases!) on the Washington County Railroad's Connecticut River Division. VTR late phase GP40-2 307 (ex-SSW/SP 7225), VTR mid-phase GP40-2 308 (ex-B&M 303), CLP early phase GP40-2 306 (ex-TOE D15) lead a 42-car southbound train as it departs Morrison's Feeds in Barnet, Vermont. This consist (among many others on the VRS) will be featured in an upcoming TRAINS magazine piece on the VRS...
