| With high water along the Mississippi River on the east side of Iowa, this KCS Bullet Train is taking the shorter route back to the KCS at Kansas City. The IMRL had to detour over the UP Splineline from Mason City to Kansas City to get around the water issues that plague the IMRL in 2001. The train is south of Chapin with KCS run thru power and IMRL unit. |
