Remarks & Notes |
Black Beauty gets a once-over at the rack in Renovo while the photographer gets eyeballed by the laborer. This Mikado had a PRR class designation of L1s, and the "NOR" stencil on the pilot designated "Northern Region". PRR had reclassified operational territories the year prior, renaming "divisions" as "regions", and the Northern Region included the Harrisburg-Buffalo line. Fans of eclectic steam and 1st generation diesels could find it on the Northern Region at the Renovo terminal. |
