| After significant wet snow accumulations piled up in the Green Mountains this week, Vermont Rail System dispatched a Thursday plow extra out of Bellows Falls, Vermont with the LLPX GP38-2 2334 pushing the veteran Vermont Railway X-20 Plow. The plow turned 100 in September of 2012 and worked just fine in the several feet of snowfall in the Greens this day... Having just crested the summit of the Greens, the plow extra is into heavy wet snow and will only travel a few more miles before calling it a day and returning to Rutland. |
