Remarks & Notes
In a scene out of another time, the Battenkill local clatters out of Eagle Bridge for North Old State Road on a cloudy day as spring struggles to bloom in rural Washington County. The crew brought down two empties earlier in the morning and picked up five loads at the interchange point with the Pan Am Southern local RJ-1. The former D&H 1952 built work horse; Greenwich & Johnsonville nos:4116 is back doing the interchange shuffle between Eagle Bridge and Greenwich Junction beginning this week after spending a little shop time for some minor mechanical issues.
