Remarks & Notes
A well worn GE C30-7 leads an export coal train west out of Provo Yard on March 7, 1993. The UP 2482 is from a roster of 140 units the Union Pacific acquired between July 1977 and Oct. 1980. The 2482 was renumbered the UP 478 on Nov. 30, 1998 only to be retired by April 30, 1999. On Sept. 30th of the same year, it would be sold to Boise Locomotive in Idaho.
