Remarks & Notes
Prior to Hurricane Sandy there were five afternoon direct trains from Hoboken to Bay Head each weekday. After Sandy that number was reduced to zero, then two, and now it stands at three. This direct train, the 2nd of 3, is crossing the Cheesequake Marsh. The church spire in the distance belongs to the Church of St. Joachim and St. Anne in Staten Island, which was featured in the film "The Godfather".
