One picture, four railroads. For the second time in a little over a month, CSX was forced to detour some of its hottest trains over the Susquehanna, this time thanks to a derailment a few miles west of Fonda, NY on the Mohawk Sub. On the last day of detours, crude oil train K040 provided a once-in-a-lifetime shot of BNSF power leading a detouring CSX train on NYSW rails, passing the former L&HR Vernon Crossing station, built in 1881 and now a deli.
