Remarks & Notes
Modoc Northern #650 rests with sister #651 with the Tulelake water tower in view. This power has been on display since the MNRR ceased operations in 2009. For a short period of time, the road operated on former Southern Pacific tracks between Klamath Falls, OR and Alturas, CA. The Union Pacific has resumed service on the line, running locals on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Whom ever is tasked with keeping this power clean is doing an excellent job.
