Remarks & Notes
NP to BN to BNSF ... Built by EMD in August 1957, Burlington Northern GP9 1922 was originally Northern Pacific 337. Just 25 years old, the 1922 is sitting in the dead line at BN's Interbay facility in Seattle, Washington, on September 17th, 1982. This engine would be placed back into service, though, and would even outlive the BN, becoming Burlington Northern Santa Fe 1628.
