Don’t you hate it when somebody walks in front of your shot?! It isn't very often you see Union Pacific meeting the Royal Canadian Pacific. Then again, it isn't very often you see a perfect A-B-A set in the 21st century either. You would think the Union Pacific power was lost, as it travels west along Canadian Pacific's Crowsnest Sub passing by the luxurious passenger train at Cowley, AB. However, during my brief visit to the area, I saw more UP power than CP power. I waited for 30 minutes for the westbound to arrive, and just as it approached near perfect position, somebody runs up in front of my shot to get their own picture, with an iPhone nonetheless! It wasn’t long after the westbound cleared that the 4107 would lead the Royal Canadian Pacific through the Crowsnest Pass to Cranbrook, BC.
