| NS CB10 local crosses the old Pennsylvania Railroad steel bridge, which crosses PA Route 36 (24st) here in Altoona. Also of note is the Juniata Shops built Prototype leading the Local. NS 2423 is a one off experimental prototype rebuild from a MP15DC. It features an turbocharged EMD 12-645E, heavily modified carbody, and an upgraded cooling system. If it proves to be successful there may be more of these in the future. |
