Remarks & Notes
Less than 1 year after the State of Michigan contracted the Tuscola & Saginaw Bay to operate the former Ann Arbor trackage in the state, the railroad acquired former Detroit & Mackinac RS-2 466, the first RS-2 ever produced. The inside of the TSBY shops are still fairly indicative of the railroad at that time, still a bit unorganized, but on track to being profitable again. 466 sits in the shops awaiting to be repainted to TSBY black and yellow, and would serve a few good years on the railroad before being retired like all other Alcos. 35mm slide from my collection, photo by Jack Smith.
