The Clinchfield 1 spot does a photo run-by for passengers aboard the short excursion that departed Erwin, TN. that morning. The train is currently at the Tennessee-North Carolina border in a community that is known as Lost Cove. This location of rail is nearly a mile from the nearest road and is one of the most inaccessible locations in the entire Nolichucky River Gorge. 35mm slide from my collection, photographer unknown.
