Remarks & Notes
Respondek's Port Harbor Railroad boasts some fascinating power nowadays! Former Milwaukee Road GP40 #2064, still gleaming in MILW/SOO bandit paint, heads up a trio of colorful EMDs, including IT painted SD40-2 #3086 and blue and silver #1000, on the port's trackage in Granite City, IL. Thanks to the crew of Respondek RRC for making this shot possible.

There are times when many engines, cars or cabooses are concentrated in a location. Such sites are for storage, economic reasons, active power needs or for rebuilding. For others, wear and tear have brought their usefulness to and end.
