Remarks & Notes
Rio Grande's first double stack test train glides west through Provo Yard on Feb. 28, 1989. After testing, the D&RGW and SP operated regular Sea Land container trains from Chicago to Oakland via Tennessee Pass. It began as D&RGW train 143, becoming the BNSZT/CHSZT when the combined D&RGW/SP alpha symbols were launched in 1990.
