Remarks & Notes 
A very picturesque tramway: The Riffelalptram is the highest tramway in Europe. Length 675m, gauge 800mm, maximum speed 10 km/h, the power comes from a accumulator. This tram runs between the railwaystation Riffelalp from the Gornergratbahn to the Hotel Riffelalp (2222 meters over sealevel, in the background) for their guests and the tourists. Here the car runs near the tables from the restaurant in the afternoonsun
