Remarks & Notes
Rio Grande's 662 local enters the Tintic Branch while departing the eastward main track at Springville. The crew has several stops to make including a GS gondola load of scrap for Spanish Fork, covered hopper loads for Moroni Feed at the Spanish Fork Sugar Factory and dolomite empties for Geneva Steel's Keigley quarry in Genola. Geneva's infamous orange cloud of pollution can be seen hovering over the cities of Orem, Pleasant Grove, American Fork, and Lehi.
