| Northern Explorer train from Wellington hauled through Paekakariki by DFB in Toll Rail livery. The train has nearly 400 miles and 10 hours to go to reach Auckland. The award winning cars were built at Hillside in Dunedin being the last produced before closure of these workshops. The train also features the same open window car used on the Tranz Alpine in South Island. |
